How to configure an email account on the Apple iPhone 5

POP3 Setup

• Click on the round Home button.
• Click on the Settings icon.
• Click Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
• Click Add Account...
• Choose Other
• Click Add Mail Account
• Enter your name, email address, password and a description of the account.
• Click Next.
• Select "POP" as the account type.

Incoming mail server (POP3):

• Host Name: pop.Yourdomainname.com
• User Name: Enter the full email address of the POP3 account you are accessing.
• Password: Enter the password for the POP3 account you are accessing.

Outgoing mail server (SMTP):

• Host Name: smtp.Yourdomainname.com
• User Name: Enter the full email address of the POP3 account you are accessing.
• Password: Enter the password for the POP3 account you are accessing.

Click Save.


NOTE: During peak hours, you may experience some delay in verifying your iPhone email settings. If, after a few minutes, an alert box pops up with the message "Cannot Connect Using SSL, Do you want to try setting up the account without SSL?", Click "Yes". There may be another delay of a few minutes, and then the same alert box will pop up. Click "Yes" again and your settings should be verified. 
Replace your Real domain name with yourdomain.com

After saving, click on the POP3 account you just created.
Scroll down and click Advanced.
Make sure Authentication is set to "Password".
If you want to keep your email messages in your SmarterMail or desktop e-mail application, make sure Delete from server is set to "Never". 

IMAP Setup

• Click on the round Home button.
• Click on the Settings icon.
• Click Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
• Click Add Account...
• Choose Other
• Click Add Mail Account
• Enter your name, email address, password and a description of the account.
• Click Next.
• Select "IMAP" as the account type.

Incoming mail server (IMAP):

• Host Name: pop.Yourdomainname.com
• User Name: Enter the full email address of the IMAP account you are accessing.
• Password: Enter the password for the IMAP account you are accessing.

Outgoing mail server (SMTP):

• Host Name: smtp.Yourdomainname.com
• User Name: Enter the full email address of the IMAP account you are accessing.
• Password: Enter the password for the IMAP account you are accessing.

Click Save.

After saving, turn Mail on in the next screen and turn Notes off.
Click Save. 

Click on the email account you just created.
On the next screen, click the IMAP account you just created.
Scroll down and click Advanced.
Under Incoming Settings, make sure Authentication is set to "Password".
If you want to control the deletion of email messages via your SmarterMail or desktop e-mail application, make sure Remove is set to "Never".

Please find below the port number for utiware email setting POP3, SMTP and IMAP Port Number

1. Secure Email Settings (Recommended)
   webmail url https://securemail.utiware.net/
   Username: user@yourdomain.com
   Password: Use the email account's password.
   Incoming Server: securemail.utiware.net
   IMAP Port: 993
   POP3 Port: 995
   Outgoing Server: securemail.utiware.net
   SMTP STARTTSL Port: 587
   IMAP, POP3, and SMTP require authentication

2. Non-SSL Settings (NOT Recommended)

Username: user@yourdomain.com
Password: Use the email account’s password.
Incoming Server: pop.yourdomain.com
IMAP Port: 143
POP3 Port: 110
Outgoing Server: smtp.yourdomain.com
SMTP Port: 25
IMAP, POP3, and SMTP require authentication.
