How to install Joomla

All Web Hosting Plans at Utiware support the installation of joomla. You should install joomla using the installation wizard provided by joomla Before installing, you will need to do six things:

(1) Upload the files for joomla into your wwwroot folder.
(2) Next, You will need use your Control Panel to set "Write Permissions" at your website in order to allow joomla be able to save its configuration file to disk.

(3) First, you will need to use your Control Panel to create your MySQL database for use in the Joomla Installation. Please visit the following Knowledgebase Article in your Client Area for a step-by-step instruction on:

(4) For the Installation, please note that your MySQL Server "Host Name" is "XpertProFresh" if you created your database after 19th May 2017. Select Server Choice of "XpertProCombined" if you created your database before 19th May 2017.

(5) Next, install joomla using the provided installation wizard.

(6) After the installation, you should log into your Control Panel and use the "File Manager" icon to browse to the "wwwroot" folder for your domain. From there, delete the "installation" folder.
