How to Configure Wordpress to Send Emails
Dear Sir
To send emails from your website, our Email Server requires that the application use SMTP Authentication before any emails can be sent. We search Google for "Wordpress SMTP Authentication", this revealed that users of Wordpress should install a plugin that allows Wordpress to be able to use SMTP authentication. You can do a Google search for this. The following website points to such plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/
If you have not yet created an email at your domain, please do so first, then use the email that you created at your domain for the following SMTP configuration steps for your Wordpress website. Please visit How to Create Email Accounts and Check WebMail.
Use the following for your Wordpress SMTP configuration
=========================================
- Choose to send mail by SMTP.
- Specify an SMTP host: [This is should be smtp.YourDomain.com. Please make sure use the SMTP address that matches the domain where Wordpress is installed]
- Specify an SMTP port: 25
- Choose SSL / TLS encryption: [Do not choose any encryption as our EMail Server does not support SSL or any encryption technique]
- Choose to use SMTP authentication.
- Specify an SMTP username and password: [These should be the Email address being hosted at your domain and the password of the email]
