How to setup your Smartermail email account on Android device

Note: use IMAP, not POP3, to access you account otherwise your emails will no longer be visible in webmail!

Replace 'yourdomain.com' with the real domain name

Step 1 - Add Account

Press the menu button and press 'Add Account'.

Step 2 - Manual Setup

Type in the email address and password to make the 'Manual Setup' button active, then press it.

eg. username@yourdomain.com

Step 3 - Account Type

Select IMAP account

Step 4 - Incoming Mail Settings

Type in the email address and password

username:username@yourdomain.com

password

IMAP server : pop.yourdomain.com

port: 143

security type: non

next

Step 5 - Outgoing Mail Settings

IMAP server : smtp.yourdomain.com

port: 25

security type: non

Check required sign-in

Type in the email address and password

eg. username@yourdomain.com

Step 6 - Account Options

Set these as required.

Give this account a Name

Set your Display name on outgoing messages same as the one use in the webhosting account Cp when the email was created

Step 7 - Finished

Please find below the port number for utiware email setting POP3, SMTP and IMAP Port Number

1. Secure Email Settings (Recommended)
   webmail url https://securemail.utiware.net/
   Username: user@yourdomain.com
   Password: Use the email account's password.
   Incoming Server: securemail.utiware.net
   IMAP Port: 993
   POP3 Port: 995
   Outgoing Server: securemail.utiware.net
   SMTP STARTTSL Port: 587
   IMAP, POP3, and SMTP require authentication

2. Non-SSL Settings (NOT Recommended)

Username: user@yourdomain.com
Password: Use the email account’s password.
Incoming Server: pop.yourdomain.com
IMAP Port: 143
POP3 Port: 110
Outgoing Server: smtp.yourdomain.com
SMTP Port: 25
IMAP, POP3, and SMTP require authentication.
